Moose

I was looking for something as a suncatcher to sell through CraftologySJ that cruise ship tourists would see and think “Saint John”… and that was a moose. I couldn’t find any suitable free designs online so I bought a pattern from Coco Watkin in Maine through her business Bycoco. (found her through Pinterest)

I sized it to 6″ and used 5/32 copper foil. The burnishing was tricky on the deep grooves but the foil did its thing beautifully. The Dark brown glass for the fur and amber for the antlers worked very well together and I was pleased with the pattern and with the outcome.
