A Triple Crown Weekend

Monica and I enjoyed three major events this weekend at home in Saint John:

  • First time visit to a new restaurant on the West Side… Casa Latina. Fantastic!
  • the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby. It was a photo finish and Mystic Dan won by a whisker.
  • a Cinco de Mayo birthday celebration for our daughter Sarah’s 36th.

Around all that, we also enjoyed each other’s company and got a little exercise around our yard and garden. If a picture is worth 1000 words, here is the short story of our weekend:
