Celtic Quintet

Once again, Celtic vibes are stirring within. This is another pattern that I created some time ago, only to leave sitting on the shelf… nagging at me.

Originally designed as a horizontal transom, I adapted it as a window hanging with five separate panels linked together and suspended vertically.

Each panel is 6″ square and the total finished piece is about 35″ long. I chose a variety of textured cathedral glass in colors across the full light spectrum.

This was a fun project in early summer 2020. Studio time was about 20 hours in total but with yard chores mounting, I only worked on rainy days (felt just like Ireland and Scotland).

Eack knot rings with an eternal vibe. Put five of them together, and you’ve got a Celtic Quintet.
