I needed a bigger and more solid/stable hooking frame. Online inspiration led me to attempt making my own. I had an 18″ square piece of 3/4″ plywood that would be good and sturdy. I cut a 16″ window out of the middle and rounded the edges with sandpaper.
From Amazon, I ordered two 40″ lengths of gripper strips ($15 each) and cut them into four 16″ lengths (with some short pieces left over for future use)
Then I staple-gunned them onto the frame and, voila! My new hooking frame was ready for use.
