Monica and I cashed in our Christmas gift cards for a wonderful afternoon and evening in Uptown Saint John. We strolled the city blocks to see what’s new and then dropped in to Kakuteru lounge for Happy Hour. Eric Scouten (owner) is an entertaining world traveller and always has fascinating and educational stories. Then a first time visit to Sumac and Thyme restaurant on King Street for a delicious Turkish dinner. Finally a hilarious comedy play at the Imperial Theater called “The Play That Goes Wrong”. It was a light hearted and satisfying day. We slept well that night.
