The Saint John Arts Center is the weekly meeting place of the Carnegie Rug Hookers group; a local organization of craftspeople focused primarily on Rug Hooking. Since I have started hooking myself, I am interested in meeting like-minded people. So, today Monica and I visited the Arts Center specifically so I could meet the people and see what they are creating. I was inspired and even picked up a couple of hooking tips during the visit. One of the group members, Tzigane Caddell, actually has an exhibit currently at the center. Wonderful to see that and get even more inspired. Here is some of her work.
