Monica and I enjoyed a fun Friday night out in uptown Saint John thanks to our daughter, Sarah. My birthday gift from her was tickets to the Candlelight Concert on Dec. 19th at Stone Church.
First, we enjoyed a cocktail and a delicious meal at Abuelita’s Mexican restaurant. The birria croquettes and chicken flautas were amazing!
Then just up the street and into Stone Church for an hour of string quartet music. The theme of the concert was Abba vs. Queen. These talented musicians gave a brilliant performance and the nostalgia was soaring as we sang along in our heads every word to every familiar song.
Belly warming and heart warming. What a fun night out! Thank you Sarah. ❤️
